I finally got around to reading this book. The story did hold me to the edge of my chair wanting to know how it ends. The book has some similarities to my experiences. Although unlike his experiences most of mine have been without the use of hallucinogenic drugs, instead taping into the lucid dream state to achieve such experiences. I can also relate to drug induced experiences although that I'm saving for my next book. In the end we are both left holding a mystery. Did we learn anything, absolutely, but it is more about experiencing and adventure.
